GoBoat, Copenhagen’s boats built with recycled plastic, running on solar and wind energy, are introducing a new winter experience
GoBoat, the leading provider of maritime experiences, is now expanding the number of winter experiences in the Port of Copenhagen with the introduction of GoBoat Harbor Tours.
With the new canal tour, Copenhageners and visitors can buy single tickets for a guided tour in a covered electric boat with heated seats included. With GoBoat Harbor Tours, you get to experience the city from the water while having the opportunity to get to know new people. The first sailing is on December 5 at 16:00, otherwise there are daily departures (except Tuesday and Wednesday duing winter time).

GoBoat Harbor Tours: A social canal cruise all year round
Harbor Tours offers one and two-hour canal cruises where passengers are guided past some of Copenhagen's most famous sights, including Nyhavn, the Opera and Christiansborg. The two-hour tour includes among others Reffen and Trekroner Fortress. With far fewer guests on board than traditional canal cruises (maximum 9), a calm and exclusive atmosphere is created. During the winter months, the electric boats are covered and have heated seats.
"We want to create a different kind of canal tour - a more intimate and relaxed experience where guests in a small group of maximum nine people can enjoy the city's unique atmosphere in calm surroundings. With GoBoat Harbor Tours, we provide Copenhageners with social experiences in Danish - yes, Copenhagen-designed electric boats. Harbor Tours sail all year round." says Anders Mørck, CEO of GoBoat.

Winter adventures with GoBoat
On December 13, the launch will be celebrated with extra sailing at Kayakbar's annual Lucia parade on the water. The canals will be filled with beautiful kayaks, lights and atmospheric songs. If you're not into kayaking, it's possible to watch from a distance from a GoBoat Harbor Tours boat.
In addition earlier this year GoBoat launched the GoBoat Cruise concept – a luxurious full-boat rental for up to 9 people. These Danish-designed electric boats, featuring heated seating and a private captain, are perfect for exploring Copenhagen’s harbor and canals, even in winter.
GoBoat’s classic self-steering electric blue boats are also available year-round. Ideal for winter excursions, they come with free blankets and heated seats can be rented. Guests can buy or bring their own drinks and snacks.
